Shore Capital is pleased to have acted for Sukh Chamdal, Chief Executive Officer of Cake Box Holdings plc (“Cake Box”), on the sale of £6.4m of his holding in Cake Box (the “Placing”).

The Placing, which was in response to demand from investors and to increase the liquidity of Cake Box’s shares, was conducted through an accelerated bookbuild with Shore Capital acting as sole bookrunner. Sukh Chamdal sold 3.75m shares in Cake Box at a price of 170p per share, raising aggregate gross proceeds of approximately £6.4m. Sukh Chamdal retains a significant holding in Cake Box of 12.79m ordinary shares, representing approximately 31.97 per cent of Cake Box’s issued share capital.

Shore Capital also acts as retained nominated adviser and broker to Cake Box, a specialist retailer of fresh cream cakes.
